Plantaform™ Announces Partnership with Laro to Scale Production of Smart Indoor Fogponic Gardens
Gatineau, QC – October 23, 2024 – Plantaform Technology Inc., a Canadian agritech company building smart indoor fogponics gardens inspired by NASA, is proud to announce a production milestone achieved in partnership with Gatineau-based company Centre de Travail Laro.
“We engaged with Laro in May 2024, to help with scaling the assembly of our Plantaform Smart Indoor Gardens to meet our increasing customer demand and sales projections for 2024 and beyond," said Georges Hamoush, COO, Plantaform Technology Inc. "Partnering with Laro enabled us to increase our assembly output by 400% within a matter of weeks.”
A team of over 40 Laro employees assemble the Plantaform devices, handling the electronics, plastics, and key components as well as performing initial functional tests as each unit comes off the assembly line. This partnership marks Laro's first foray into consumer electronics assembly, an achievement both companies are eager to share as they continue their collaboration.
