Plantaform wins Web Summit PITCH 🥇
We’re incredibly proud to share that we won the PITCH startup competition at Web Summit Qatar 2026. The event brought together more than 30,000 attendees, 1,600+ startups, and nearly 1,000 investors from 127 countries, making it one of the most impactful global tech gatherings we’ve been part of.
At Plantaform, we’re building smart indoor gardens that let people grow fresh, organic herbs, greens, and vegetables at home year-round. Our technology replaces soil with fogponics, a mist-based growing method that delivers water and nutrients directly to plant roots using ultrasonic fog. This allows plants to grow faster, use significantly less water, and thrive indoors in any climate with minimal effort.
Winning PITCH was a huge moment for our team. It validated not only the product we’ve built, but also our broader vision. Over the next year, we see Plantaform becoming a common household appliance across the GCC, while also scaling our fogponics technology into commercial greenhouse applications designed for efficient food production in desert environments.
The conversations we had with investors, operators, and partners at Web Summit Qatar were incredibly hands-on and focused on real deployment and impact. It was energizing, motivating, and a strong signal that we’re building something meaningful.
